Yesterday I had one of the worst migraines I’ve had in years. The Migranal nasal spray I took simply did not work, which has happened a few times in my life with it and with Zomig when I used that—I said to my husband that it was like they’d filled it with water instead. A little fake-out vial in the pack to keep you on your toes.
I’m so sorry your migraines have been that bad recently. I have also been through periods like this (lasting weeks or months). Still have no idea why. All the best wishes & thoughts!
Sympathy for your pain. After I read Bottle of Lies by Katherine Eban - every time I hear someone say that a particular drug is not working I suggest that they look it up on the FDA website to see if there is a black box around it? and check the drug manufacturer to see if that company is in trouble as well - and switch to another drug from another drug producer. If you know all this already I apologize. We live in an awful country totally run by the unfettered greed of oligarchs, corporations, billionaires who only care about their bottom lines. They own all the legislators, all the state governments, the food systems, the sick care insurance, the schools/universities, even the legal system. And as George Carlin said many years ago THEY DON'T GIVE A F*CK ABOUT YOU. I despair. I'm old but I worry about young people like my kids, grand kids and people like you. Take care. They could well have filled your nasal sprays with water - very few checks on production/manufacture/distribution of drugs these days as Eban's book describes in great detail.
